  • Type of geek (GAT/CS/H): Geek of All Trades, specializing in Computer Scienc e and humanities (history)
  • Dress (d-): Jeans and a tshirt
  • Shape (s-/s:): I look up to some people, and i'm average in weight
  • Age (a-): 25-29
  • Computers (C++++$): I'll be the first in line to get the new cybernetic interface installed into my skull (and I'll be able to expense it *WINK*)
  • UNIX (U++$): I've got the admin ticked at me for using all the system resources, and for running programs I have no access to. ...and btw, I get paid for it :)
  • Perl (P+): I know of Perl, I like Perl, I just haven't learned much Perl.
  • Linux (L+++): I use Linux exclusively on my system (well, at least 2 systems.)
  • Emacs (E---): Emacs sucks! vi forever !!!
  • World Wide Web (W+++/--$) I am a webmaster, and some days I hate the web. But I get paid, *grin*.
  • USENET News (N+): I read news recreationally.
  • USENET Oracle (o): I've submitted a question.
  • Kibo (K): I know who Kibo is.
  • Microsoft Windows (W+/--): I use it, I use it fairly well, but I don't like it.
  • OS/2 (O-): Tried it, didn't like it.
  • Macintosh (M): I've used a Mac, but I didn't like it.
  • VMS (V): I've used VMS.
  • Political and Social Issues (PS+++): Can we say "neo-anarchist". There's no government like no government.
  • Politics and Economic Issues (PE): Distrust both government and business.
  • Cypherpunks (Y+): I have an interest and concern in privacy issues, but in reality I am not really all that active or vocal.
  • PGP (PGP): I've used it, but stopped long ago.
  • Star Trek (t+): It's a damn fine TV show, and one of the few good things on TV anymore.
  • Babylon 5 (5+): Babylon 5 certainly presents a fresh perspective in SciFi.
  • X-Files (X+): I watch the show when i remember.
  • Role Playing (R++*): I thought life WAS role-playing. I know all the rules of quite a few games, and the home grown rules I came up with have scared the rest of the gaming world :) (and I used to be much worse).
  • Television Books (b++++): I read a book a day, more if I can.
  • Dilbert (DI++): I work with people that act a lot like Dilbert and crew.
  • Doom (D+): It's a fun way to kill a few hours.
  • The Geek Code (G): I know what the geek code is and even did up this code.
  • Education (e): Finished high school.
  • Housing (h++): Living in a cave (den) with 47 computers and ISDN. :)
  • Relationships (r*): Member of the SBCA (Sour Bachelor's Club of America), 'Bitter, but not Desperate'. Of course, this is subject to negotiation :)
  • Sex (y++**): I'm a male who has been know to make perverts look like angels, and was once referred to as 'easy'.
