"Better Vulpines through Technology."
Welcome to the home of Cyberfox.org/Cabal23.net, or at least the home of the computers
that make up Cyberfox.org/Cabal23.net. Currently all the machine sit in the breakfast nook of Rhiannon's house.
It's a real geek lair, folding tables and computer cases.
Currently the network runs off of a dialup connection, provided by
Illuminati Online.
The various machines I use are listed below.
Kallisti: Linux Goddess
This is my primary workstation, running SuSE 8.0.
This is where I spend
95% of my geektime (the other 5% is games under windows on another computer)
With the monitors (2 19") I should get a nice tan. It's a
very snazzy box, plenty of power and space. My windowmanager is
Enlightenment.

Discordia: Mp3/File Server
This is my DNS/Local Webhost/Mp3/File server. This is a box choch full of hard drives,
storing all the stuff I don't keep on my main box. This box has gone
though a number of changes in the last few yearis, including being stripped down
to make a webserver. Now it's back as an internal server. With a LOT of
mp3's. And it still has room for 2 more hard drives...well at least
room on the controller, I don't know if it has that much case room. I need
to add a 2nd processor to the board, but that will probably wait for a while.

Kajira: Rhiannon's Windows Workstation
This is Rhiannon's computer. When
we first met, she was running a P-120 that crashed alot. (The evils of
AOL. I built her a slightly better

Voyeur: Windoze Laptop
This is my laptop. I've had it for about 2 years now. It's not the fasting
thing on the planet, but it's ok for what I do with it (very little). It
really really needs a RAM upgrade. That and a install of Linux ;) It
actually used to dualboot win98 and SuSE linux...but the linux install went
flerny, so I wiped the partition. I had it setup in the office with a
15" monitor, keyboard and mouse for workstation use. Kinda cool, IMHO.
It doesn't come with a nifty docking station...so I made my own :) I've got
the keyboard and mouse, but not enought space at the moment to use them...
I'll have to fix that someday soon.
